Lessons Learned.....

The Case File #39 at CSI and OUAS this week was once again fun and  due to the holidays have managed to finish it in plenty of time this week.  The scene:
I wanted to scrap this photo of my GS with the bear I bought him in Australia.  Frog Bear was soon to become a good bed time friend and the photo is what greeted his Mum one morning.  As we had to include a lesson on the project I used a friend one "Hold a true friend with both of your hands".
The Scheme:  All colours used (the Winnie the Pooh Paper was perfect for the base.)
The Evidence:  Rub-ons, leaves (flourish and modelling paste), bird (modelling paste), little bits and pieces (flowers and a little owl trinket)
The Testimony - Journal on your photograph (I used the rubon on the photograph).

I did include some more journalling along the bottom about the bear and photo and "Friends are Special Treasures of the heart".

And while checking out the blog of one of the lovely ladies (Anupama Choudary) who commented on my last week's entry at CSI I came across the following and I love it.

" All I really need to know I learned as a Scrapbooker..."
(With due apologies to the original authors)

1. I'd rather have Glimmer mists on my scrapping table than diamonds on my neck.

2. I scrap. Therefore I am. BROKE.

3. Scrapbooking fills my days - not to mention my living room, dining table and closets!

4. Scrapping is cheaper than therapy.

5.Scrapping is the only way to run away without leaving home.

6. Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.

7. I could keep on scrappin'
or I could go to bed,
but then what would I do
with all these layouts in my head?

8. I've never really had a hobby, unless you count scrapbooking,

which the IRS once told me I had to declare as a hobby since I hadn't made money with it.

9. When life gives you scraps, make something with them.

10. A true scrapbook addict is one who stages photographs to match paper she likes.

LOL.  That put a smile on the dial for the day.  I can certainly relate to most of it.

Thank you for dropping by my blog today.  Would love to hear from you.  Happy creating.

Until next time.....
