Invild Bolme's new blog design & Giveaway

Ingvild is one of my favourite Scrapbookers (like right up there in my Top 5) and she is celebrating her new blog design with 'a mountain of Prima' giveaway.  Ingvild's new blog look s fantastic just like her beautiful creations.
Look at that amazing collection of Prima Products.  One can never have too much Prima and currently my stocks are very low.  Oohhh wouldn't it be a dream to win all that along with Ingvild's tools there in the centre front?  Visit Ingvild's blog for more detail.

I haven't managed any scrapping this week - just not enough hours int he day or days in the week.  I just had to go and visit my dear little GS this weekend as I hadn't seen him for 7 weeks and he has progressed so much during that time and I was afraid he might have forgotten who I was lol.  He is just delightful and we will be lucky enough to see him in another week.   Looking forward to creating some pages of him soon.

Have a great week.

 Until next time....

M.I.A.

... in a warmer climate.  The July school holidays were a good opportunity for a Queensland holiday along with my Mum & Dad, S-I-L and niece and to catch up on special friends. It was lovely having warm feet and hands for two weeks and thank goodness that the weather was kind arriving back in NZ at 3.40 a.m. yesterday morning.  We were delayed by 4 hours at Brisbane (apparently due to a mechanical problem which we were told was a blocked toilet and they had to get another plane).

Consequently no scrapping over the past two weeks although I have sourced a few goodies that I am looking forward to using soon.... Couldn't resist the gorgeous lace motifs found at a market and went a bit overboard - shouldn't need any more lace for some time lol.

Just before we left we had news of  DH's cousin's passing so made this card to send.   It is made with Kaisercraft papers available at Embellish It.
Black Liquid Pearls (also available at Embellish It) were used to add dimension to the frame.
Flowers, lace and leaves (above and below) are from Wild Orchids.
The reverse of the cover paper contained the below verse (which was really friendship paper) which also worked well for a Sympathy card.

Embellish It Crops are coming up next week 21st July at Oamaru and 28 July at Timaru.  If interested in attending contact Joanne.
And then it will not be long until the Raincliff Crop weekend at the end of August.

Well it is back to work tomorrow and no doubt a busy 1st week of term.  Enjoy your week.

Keep Warm if you are in the midst of winter.
Until next time....
