Prima July BAP - "Laugh"

Thank you for visiting my blog today and welcome to any new visitors.

Today I have been savouring the last day of the holidays - it was such a beautiful winter's day here I should have been outside but as it was really my only day to myself all holidays and I was feeling so much better after being unwell for most of the holidays I treated myself with a day in the scrap room and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This month's Prima BAP  was perfect to get the mojo going eventually (always takes a while to decide what to do).

and my take using Prima Printery and Lifetime Collection papers together with some packaging, washi tape, flowers and embellishments. The large majority of the page is Prima.
I used a Prima crackle stencil around the photo with texture paste and also a bird wire stencil with texture paste in a different colour.
Stamping was done with a Prima stamp, Kaisercraft music and bubble wrap.
There are a couple of Dusty Attic pieces included in the clusters and also the 'laugh' title is from Dusty Attic.
Being a male page the Prima zip flower/spiral  which I won in a RAK recently was perfect.  One of the subjects Mum's passed away recently so I took the opportunity to use some of the buttons and lace that he gave me when clearing the house.

Spot the tiny set of keys in the bottom right.  Should have taken a better closeup of them - they are very cute.  I thoroughly enjoyed creating Finnabair style again and was pleased with the outcome.

The subjects are DH and his Best Man and Groomsman at our wedding.  I have recently been scanning all our photos in an effort to save them as 1978 was a bad year for toner and they are all the professional ones are going darker and darker brown so I feel that this one hasn't come up too bad considering it was scanned from a matt photo - the colour restoration button did wonders. Love the way they are all laughing and having a good time.    I have used a couple more this week in classes I am creating for the upcoming Raincliff Weekend Retreat so that may be the start of a new wedding album (scrapbooked).

Would love to know that you have visited and what you think.

Have a great week.

Until next time......
Dianne
