Well the suspense is over and the newest heir to the throne has made his first public appearance so as Prince William said "the people will be able to get back to normal now". It is always lovely when a new baby is born and for Great Britain they certainly know how to celebrate such an occasion. Welcome to the Prince of Cambridge!!
Yesterday I made a tag which co-incidentally goes with the theme. I was making it for this month's Helmar Challenge (make a tag) and to go on the gift being sent to follow on from the card from my last post. For my HELMAR tag I used my favourite HELMAR 450 Adhesive to adhere the flowers, hearts, beads, bows and resin.
Created with the Kaisercraft 'Bundle of Joy' PP's with a little lace, ribbon and flowers added. The boat, horse, baby and banner are from the sticker sheet.
The banner looked a bit 'bland' so Gesso was randomly added around the edges.
It was fun to make something different for a change. As usual I kept adding bits so it could be a little 'over the top' lol.
Well I had better get back to the task in hand - creating a layout class for the Embellish It Raincliff Crop to be held on 16 - 18 August. I think there are still spaces so if you would like to join us for a creative, fun, catered for weekend contact Joanne for more details. Sneak peeks will be out soon.
Hope your week is going well - mine is going far too fast and my voice is still coming and going.
Until next time.....
Dianne
