Kaisercraft July Saturday Sketch #4

Thank you for stopping in at my blog today.  How is everyone's week going?  Well I hope.  It has been a bitterly cold day here today but being very busy at work I have hardly noticed.

I didn't get a lot of time this month for challenges and this one is almost at the 19th hour - done on Monday night and it took all last night to tidy my scrap room.  It is created with the Kaisercraft "True Romance" Collection of papers and I would have to say I have done my dash after three display pages for Embellish It, two class pages for the Raincliff Retreat, a card and now this one.for the Kaisercraft July Sketch #4

Here is my take on the sketch.

I used the Kaisercraft Damask mask on the background paper.

These tiny photos have been hanging around for a while and I was unsuccessful in scanning them bigger so I decided to just use the originals on the page where they would now be safe and not get lost. The main photo is of my Grandma and Pop (my great grandparents who lived next door to us until they passed when I was 10.) I am the little dot on the right.

and this was the July #4 Sketch.

Embellish It Raincliff Retreat

I understand there a couple of places left for the 'Embellish It' Raincliff Retreat weekend on 16-18 August so if you are interested please contact Joanne.  My class is as follows

Pretty it is!
You asked for pretty and we hope you will not be disappointed.

In this class you will be creating not one but TWO ‘pretty’ pages complimentary to each other.  We will be mixing patterned papers, punching, layering, fussy cutting, using rub-ons lace and more.  We may even splash a bit of paint around.  Anyone can give this class a go!  It is estimated that this class will take 3 hours.

There will also be Joanne's card class and another layout class also tutored by Joanne.

Tea is ready to serve so must go for now....  Thanks again for visiting. Would love to know you have been by leaving a comment.

Until next time...

Dianne

Gorgeous layout Dianne. I love how you've used the gel medium with the mask. And yes, freezing cold here yesterday too. Typical spring - warm one minute, freezing the next...or is that just NZ in general LOL.
