Crop for a Cause 2012

After my  last post I realized, while on the theme of PINK, that I had meant to mention that Beck Caithness is once again organising a "Crop for a Cause" - a PINK day on Saturday 27 October.  Check out the blog here.  In 2010 I attended and it was an extremely well organised fun day.  There is the added challenge of decorating a bra so need to get the thinking cap on.  There were a variety of excellent creations last time so I am looking forward to seeing what people come up with this time.

Today I am going to share a layout created at the Embellish It Raincliff camp.  I had been wanting to scrap these photos of our little man for ages and the Bo Bunny papers were perfect.  He was so little then and tonight on Skype he clapped his hands for the first time so I was thrilled to witness it.  Once he finally got the hang of it he didn't want to stop.  ...and today he went for his first swim in the little rash suit we brought him .... so cute and he loved the swim.

It has been a busy weekend so far with having the company of two of my sweet great nieces age 3 & 5 for the day yesterday.  We spent a little time in the craft room finishing some little Kaiser people which had been started by my youngest niece a couple of years ago.  They then used them to play 'hide and seek'  so that was fun.  They were very helpful and insisted on helping make a salad for lunch.  We then went for a visit to the batch and enjoyed exploring and playing aliens while I mowed some of the lawns.

Today has involved visiting and some more lawn mowing at the batch.  The weather has been fine and sunny which is great for a long weekend.   I am now looking forward to some scrapping/planning tonight and a creative day tomorrow so must go and get onto it.

Thank you for your visit today.  Hope all is well in your little piece of the world.

Until next time........
