A Great Day

Today was spent at the Embellish It Crop Day so that is always a good day catching up with a great bunch of ladies who share the same wonderful hobby.  I didn't really achieve much, just completing one project, a canvas with the lovely Kaisercraft 'True Romance' tags but before posting the creation I had better get permission from the subject.  I have another layout on the go and hope to finish that tomorrow.

Last night I finished another Kaisercraft 'True Romance' page as well.  It will be on display at the Embellish It Crop tomorrow in Oamaru.  Have a lovely day ladies.   I hope to post it soon too.

In the meantime I have had good news over the past two days -
1st - we received an excited phone call yesterday to say Zac is to get a baby brother at the end of October (we have known of course but the gender was confirmed yesterday).

2nd - I participated in the Paper Haus Blog Hop last week and was the lucky winner of  Stacey Young's RAK here.  Stacey has been one of the gorgeous Prima Design Team who finishes her term now.  Check out Stacey's Blog to see her beautiful work and kits.  A sneak peek of the lovely RAK.  Soooo excited.....  Thank you Stacey.

3rd - Tonight I discovered another win (certainly is my lucky day) in the NZPaper Chase May Challenge and I hadn't yet blogged the entry so here it is today.

A layout which has been in my  'to do' folder for a long.... time waiting to be scrapped.  Zac meeting his Great Grandparents (my Mum and Dad) when he was just a few weeks old.  The page was created using the Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' Collection papers.

Along with the sketch, the page required masking so I glimmer misted the butterflies onto the paper.

I hope your weekend is going well.  Thank you so much for visiting today and sharing in my good news.

Until next time...
