Yay for the Holidays

Where has the last week gone?  The last week of term is always busy.  I had a meeting until 7.30 Tuesday and then back to school at 7.15am Wednesday for the Farewell Breakfast for our Long standing (25 years) Retiring Cleaner.  We are going to miss her cherry disposition  She has always changed the date in my office every day (not one of my strong points) so I hope she trains the new cleaner to do the same.  This is the card I made to contain some vouchers for the Pamper pack.

An eclectic creation to depict it is now time to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee etc (note the little chair charm).  Time to hear the birds sing and smell the roses and also hang up the bundle of keys that were required as she negotiated the various buildings of the school.  She always had lovely vases of flowers in my office, the Principals, ladies toilets etc.
Papers were from a magazine insert, chipboard embellishments - Prima, keys and charm (Nic Howard on Trade Me), flowers - Wild Orchids, lace from the Altrusa club Bazaar last week, Bird chippie "Make it Crafty", Resin flowers made myself and round frame from a collection in my stash originally from the Warehouse.

and the vouchers for a cafe and message tucked in the pocket inside.

It is a cold miserable day here today so a wonderful opportunity to hit the scrap room with so many projects on the go but having trouble finding 'mojo'.  Once I get started all will be good. On the list for this weekend is
  • 50th Wedding Anniversary Card (for tomorrow)
  • 2 pages for a special project contribution
  • continue with 50th birthday album
  • ...and lots more spinning around in my head
...so I better go and get on with it.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

Until next time...
