Birthday Card

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I had a lovely visit to see my Grandson, calling in at the Embellish It Oamaru crop on the way.  It was great to catch up on everyone again.

It was an early start to Friday morning as our school had a Fair in the weekend and the challenge had been put out to staff & PTA to create a cake for the cake walk.  I made it Thursday night and ended up getting up at 5.45 a.m. to ice it.  The effort was worth it - I was the lucky winner.  I made a clown cake but forgot to take a photo of it it the rush to get it packaged and be at work on time. Friday night was my Dad's birthday so 22 of the family got together for tea.

Here is Dad's card - sort of shabby vintage.  Thanks to Jo and Rachel for the clock face.

The image is Lili of the Valley, papers Tim Holtz and film strip Tim Holtz.  The tile is Prima and Key Tattered Angels.

 Thanks for visiting.

All the best for the week ahead.  Until next time...

Dianne

Gutted you didn't get a photo of your cake tho - lol - bet it was just awesome.
At least the weather wasn't too bad for the fair esp. after Friday night
