Embellish It Scrap Camp

Another successful scrap camp is over and it was the last under the current regime. Rachel, her family and team of helpers worked hard to provide the almost 46+ scrappers with a weekend of warmth, laughter, good food, no dishes, and the opportunity to be inspired by and meet some wonderful like minded people from all over New Zealand. Thank you to everybody involved and while it was Rachel's last as organiser we all hope they will continue in 2011.

It was lovely that my friend Penny, all the way from Tapanui, could join us and thanks to our bunk room mates Andrea, Rosemary and Diane B - we had the quiet room - no snorers lol. I even managed to still be able to climb up on the top bunk.

The creations over the weekend were amazing. Dusty Attic featured high on the list of favourite items and it was amazing what campers created. Some indicated they may put them up in the Dusty Attic Gallery so keep an eye out.

One of my creations was using a DA chair and chandelier. I loved using the Bo Bunny papers and the cute little Tim Holtz film strip.
Glimmer Misted chandelier and tips of candles painted with KindyGlitz.Tim Holtz filmstrip Painted chair with Twinkling H20s and Distress Paint but didn't like it so sanded Distress crackle paint off and then sprayed with Olive Glimmer Mist. EK Success punch used.

I managed 3 layouts and 2 cards for the weekend. Off to catch up on some sleep now.

THANKS for visiting and have a great week.
Dianne
