The magic of winter

CSI (Colour Stories Inspiration) and OUAS joined together for September to bring weekly challenges and sketches. Finally I have managed to get one completed before the deadline.  Here are the requirements of the challenge.

I loved creating this page of my Grandmother and siblings in the winter of 1921. I felt the image on the Kaisercraft Turtle Dove PP would have been the way they played over in Worsburgh Bridge, Yorkshire back then.

The lace was one of my finds at a market on the Gold Coast.
The testimony is 'newspaper' style on velum and bordered. The evidence - flowers, bird, trees & branches and page is bordered.

It was lovely to catch up on those who attended the Embellish It crop yesterday.  My mojo and motivation was MIA and I didn't even achieve finishing one page.  However today I am trying to make up for it with two layouts  on the go at the moment.  Thanks to A for lending me her punches and snowflakes.  I had left my punches at home by mistake however it was nice to try out some new ones and now I just might have to add them to the wish list.

Well I had better go and get on with the layouts.

Thank you for visiting today and have a wonderful week.
