Feather Craft Together February challenge was to scrap a 'low light' or 'high light' from January and to use fabric/lace and dimension. The Sketch....
And my take ...
My sister and I took my Mum (as her December Birthday Promise) and Auntie to Akaroa to visit
'The Giant's House" and we were not disappointed. The giant mosaic creations were amazing and well worth a visit if you are over that way. It was certainly a highlight of my January. Mum creates beautiful mosaic pieces herself (on a much smaller scale of course, and all neatly grouted) so the visit was very inspiring for all.
From my prize pack of DA Goodies I used Dusty Attic Angel wings and 'January' word. Crackle paint was applied before embossing with 'Opals' which gave it a cracked effect which can be seen slightly in the photos.
I love the criss-crossed bauble lace which I use very sparingly.
It is hard to believe that it is Friday again tomorrow. Hope your week is going well.

Congrats on being highlighted on the Prima blog once again. The lace on this layout is stunning - and what a fantastic layout.
