Wishing all the visitors to my Blog a Happy New Year. Thank you for your interest in 2010. A big thank you for those who have left comments too.
In a dry warm garage we joined all our fellow campsite evacuees to see in the New Year. For most it was the first time in 20 years they hadn't been at the campsite for New Year and by all accounts it "just wasn't the same" however we were making the best of the situation.
Yesterday, between creating a few salads for the evening barbecue, I managed to put together my entry for the Prima December BAP and then discover this morning that I might be too late but sent it any way.
The photo is of the flower girl and page boy at my daughter's wedding. The photographer was Tania Rae Photography and disappointingly the large majority of photos were on angles (I feel that straight photos are more conducive to scrap booking). However this cute little photo is one of about five that did look good on an angle but even then I have turned it for the layout.
For the larger flower I layered Prima flowers and tulle before adding the final flower which was then touched up with some Kindyglitz. Two little ribbon flowers left over from the flower girl dress were included on the layout. Organza ribbon (also leftover) was used for a bow and then rolled across the page. The title 'dreams' was Dusty Attic and glimmer misted.
The Prima papers are so cute and suited the BAP sketch well.
Thanks for visiting. Until next time .....
Dianne
PS - Now I better start working on a new title image for this blog.
